Melissa Matusevich has been a public educator for over thirty years. A published author, she is a popular staff developer who provides workshops on a variety of topics.

As an author, Melissa has crafted teaching guides for major publishers. All instructional materials she creates are well grounded in brain research. The active teaching strategies she uses result in long-term student retention. Melissa is the educational consultant for Grolier Publisher's From Sea to Shining Sea book series. She recently created over two hundred posters to augment instruction in the Virginia Standards of Learning for Social Studies. These posters can be downloaded for free from her web site. At present she is adding other educational resources to her site that also are free to teachers.
